ATI Petroleum Inc. (ATIP) is a member of
ATI group, incorporated in the United
States
with its Corporate Headquarters located
at 142 Fairbanks Road, Oak Ridge,
Tennessee,
USA 37830. ATIP’s Operations Office are
located at 299 Trung Kinh Road, Cau Giay
District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
ATIP is an exploration management and
Operations Company engaged in
negotiating
and managing Production Sharing
Contracts (PSC’s) for petroleum and
other natural
resources. More specifically, the
Company evaluates, performs and/or
purchases
geological and geophysical data
regarding prospective exploration sites
throughout North
America, South East Asia and the African
Continent. These sites may include
offshore
prospects as well as onshore and the
areas may be privately or government
owned
properties.
The Company’s initial exploration
project entails a Production Sharing
Contract (PSC)
between the company and PetroVietnam
(PV), for the exploration and production
of oil &
gas in Blocks 102 and 106 in the Gulf of
Tonkin.
• The Company signed this PSC on January
28, 2000 with an effective operations
date of February 28, 2000. The
contracted area includes over 14,000 km2
of shallow
(less than 30 meters deep) offshore
territory.
• As part of this PSC, The Company has
inherited over 9200 km of 2 dimensional
seismic data and data reduction from
past exploration activities conducted by
TOTAL, Idemitsu, and PetroVietnam
exploration companies over the past 15
years.
Though this extensive data, the Company
has ascertained 10 major oil and gas
prospects.
• On the 8th of January 2003, ATIP
signed a “Farm-in” agreement with
PETRONAS
Carigali Overseas SDN.BHD. Selling 50%
to Petronas who becomes the Operator of
the project.
• On January 9th 2004, “Singapore
Petroleum Company” (SPC) acquires from
ATIP
10% of blocks 102 & 106 in a farm in
Agreement registered with the Vietnam
Authorities.
• On May 17th 2005, SPC acquires an
additional 10% participating interest in
blocks
102 & 106, Vietnam Production Sharing
Contract, consolidating its interest to
20% of
the said PSC.
